Language Competence Certfication Tools for the Vocations (LCCTV) is a multinational project supported by the Leonardo da Vinci/Transfer of Innovation programme. Within the project, which ran from 2007 to 2009, the consortium members have developed language competence certification tools and materials which will help organisations such as employment agencies, labour offices and employers' organisations to evaluate the language proficiency of foreign workers who are seeking employment. Employees wishing to work in a foreign country will be enabled to obtain transparent and standardised language competence certification for their specific vocational field.
