Beschreibung

TEMPUS is a Joint European Project with the aim of developing a new practice oriented Master program in Business Informatics for Russian universities according to the Bologna requirements. Its main objective is the development and implementation of the curriculum "Master of Business Informatics". Further, a double-diploma program will be prepared, enabling students from Russia to study at a European university as part of their Master studies. The long-term goal is the development and dissemination of best practice in IT business education contributing to the structural reform of IT education in the Russian Federation. The activities will follow a two-year plan: During the first year, the curriculum will be developed with the involvement of academic and administrative staff of the partner universities. The experience of the European partners will greatly help in designing the curriculum and in training university staff. Collaborations with business companies will add practical input to align the Master program to the companies' needs. The curriculum will be implemented during the second year of the project. The Russian students will be taught according to the curriculum by the specifically trained university staff. The results will be monitored, and the accreditation of the new curriculum will finally ensure the quality of the Master program. Dissemination activities will take place throughout the entire time span of the project. The results will be published and presented at the international conference "Business Informatics - new educational program. Results and perspectives" in Russia.
