Abstract

In today’s educational landscape, the integration of digital tools into science teaching has surged to remarkable prominence. The talk will spotlight initiatives undertaken at the Biology Digital Learning Lab, where our focus is particularly on the preparation of pre-service teachers and the active involvement of high school students in embracing technology-enhanced teaching and learning (TET and TEL). This talk will explore, for instance, the ways in which technology underpins the professional development of teachers within the domain of human biology, utilizing research methodologies such as Linear Mixed Models (LMM) and Network Analysis. In addition, we will delve into the capacity of digital technology to cultivate an environment conducive to inclusive Biology Education.
