Zusammenfassung

The importance of technology for mathematical modelling and problem solving is emphasised and connections between these areas are elaborated, which arise in particular through technology. For this purpose, a teacher's technology-based processing of a modelling and problem-solving task is analysed in detail and conclusions are drawn for the theoretical conception. Particularly interesting are the sub-processes that describe the use of technology in the mathematical model. Here, the perspective of technology-based problem solving can meaningfully expand the consideration of the modelling processes and generate deeper insights that can also be useful for teacher education.
