Zusammenfassung

Measurement estimation skills are very important in daily life(Heinze et al., 2018). Measurement estimation can be used to determine missing quantities by estimation, for example when working on Fermi problems, in which missing data must be determined by reasonable estimates (Ärlebäck, 2009). Often, students have some knowledge about the magnitude expression of individual representatives but cannot use this to make a mental comparison to estimate otherquantities (Ruwisch, 2021). Therefore, it is important that students build up measurement estimation skills and learn to use them. Moreover, it is conceivable thatstudents’ measurement estimation skills have an influence on the solving processing of Fermi problems. In this project, w e will investigate to what extent measurement estimation skills affect the process of solving Fermi problems.
