Zusammenfassung

Alocasia cucullata fruits suspected to be cyanogenic after fatal ingestion by 2 children. The plant material obtained from the same location were analyzed in Germany and found only small quantities of hydrogen cyanide material. This is not sufficient to classify the plant as toxic.
